Đức TGM Leopoldo Girelli đến thăm và tặng quà trại tâm thần Gia Hà

Nằm trong chương trình thăm viếng mục vụ tại Giáo phận Thanh Hóa, chiều nay ngày 02/12/2011, Đức Tổng Giám mục  Leopoldo Girelli và phái đoàn Tòa Thánh đã có chuyến viếng thăm trung tâm bảo trợ xã hội – trại tâm thần Gia Hà thuộc huyện Quảng Xương, Thanh Hóa. Đây là chuyến viếng thăm  đầy tình nghĩa của Đức Tổng, thể hiện tinh thần nhân ái sâu sắc của cộng đồng Ki-tô giáo theo gương Đức Giê-su Ki-tô.


Cùng đi với Đức Tổng là phái đoàn của Giáo phận Thanh Hóa do Đức cha Giuse Nguyễn Chí Linh dẫn đầu, cha Tổng đại diện Phê-rô Vũ Tiến Phúc, các cha thuộc 6 giáo hạt, các nữ tu dòng MTG Thanh Hóa và đại diện giáo dân.



Đúng 15h00, Phái đoàn hiện diện tại khuôn viên của trung tâm bảo trợ trong sự đón tiếp của ông Lê Xuân Lập – Giám đốc trung tâm cùng các cán bộ, công nhân viên. Màu xanh của cây cỏ phủ lấp đi những cơ sở hạ tầng đã cũ, đem lại màu sức sống cho cán bộ công nhân viên và bệnh nhân tại trại tâm thần Gia Hà. Tại phòng hội, cha Antôn Trịnh Đình Thiệu đã có đôi lời chào mừng và giới thiệu Phái đoàn. Sau đó, Đức Tổng đã có lời chào thăm hỏi đến với Ban giám đốc và tất cả nhân viên của trung tâm. Ngài nói: “Tôi xin kính chào Ban giám đốc và quý vị đang có mặt tại đây. Tôi cám ơn quý vị đã dành thời giờ quý báu để đón tiếp tôi. Tôi luôn cầu chúc cho quý vị có được sự bình an. Và tất nhiên tôi đến đây với mục đích chính là thăm hỏi những người được điều trị, những vị khách được quý vị đón tiếp, nâng đỡ và chữa trị để phần nào nói lên sự gần gũi của tôi đối với sự đau khổ, xoa dịu phần nào nỗi đau khổ của họ. Nhìn thấy màu xanh nơi đây tôi có thể hiểu được sự quan tâm của quý vị tới sức khỏe của bệnh nhân, về cả tinh thần và thể chất. Những gì quý vị đã làm đã được rất nhiều người công nhận. Và tất nhiên việc viếng thăm của tôi bày tỏ tình tương thân tương ái trong tình người vì con người chính là đối tượng để chúng ta phục vụ. Tôi cũng bày tỏ sự biết ơn của tôi trước tấm thịnh tình mà quý vị đã dành cho tôi. Tôi đến đây với Đức cha giáo phận Thanh Hóa còn nói lên lòng nhân ái của cộng đoàn giáo hội Công giáo, đó là điều mà Đức tin Công giáo đã dạy chúng tôi, là phải biêt quan tâm, yêu thương và chia sẻ đối với những người nghèo khổ, những người đau yếu và cùng cực nhất trong xã hội. Tôi cũng xin cám ơn Đức cha Giuse đã sắp xếp chuyến thăm viếng này để tôi có thể nhìn thầy rõ sự thân thiện của Giáo hội địa phương với công việc bác ái trong địa bàn. Tôi cũng xin được Đại diện cho Đức Thánh Cha nói lên sự quan tâm, ưu ái của Giáo hội khi luôn luôn đứng về những con người nghèo hèn trong xã hội để cùng nhau cộng tác và phục vụ cho con người ngày một tốt đẹp hơn…”.

Sau lời phát biểu của ông Lê Xuân Lập – Giám đốc trung tâm bảo trợ xã hội – trại tâm thần Gia Hà, Đức Tổng Giám mục  Leopoldo Girelli đã trao quà lưu niệm cho trung tâm và chụp hình lưu niệm. Tiếp đó, Đức Tổng cùng Phái đoàn và tất cả mọi người xuống thăm và phát quà trực tiếp cho các bệnh nhân tâm thần với số lượng lên đến 548 phần quà. Ngài còn gửi lời thăm hỏi cùng món quà đến các bác sĩ điều trị cho các bệnh nhân tâm thần tại đây.

Điều đó đã làm nên sức sống trường tồn của giáo hội Công giáo qua biết bao những thăng trầm. Đó là một hình ảnh đẹp không chỉ dành cho Giáo phận Thanh Hóa, mà còn là niềm tự hào của tất cả những người Công giáo trên thế giới về Vị Chủ chăn của mình.
